Mumuadu Rural Bank Limited has made several preparations to reach out to government to achieve its flagship programmes such as the “One district, one factory” and the “Planting for Food and Jobs” in their catchment areas.
Mr. Seth Adom – Asomaning, the Board Chairman of the bank, disclosed this during the bank’s 30th Annual General Meeting on Saturday, August 11, 2018 at the Osino Presbyterian Chapel.
According to Mr. Adom- Asomaning, the bank’s desire to remain in the government’s new initiative has led them to take a step to be of supportive of the government flagship programs.
In an interview with Micro Watch, the Chairman mentioned that he is aware of the plans of the government in rolling out the “One district, One

factory” in some parts of Begoro where a factory would be put up for the production of starch. Mr. Adom – Asomaning mentioned that the bank will give financial support to farmers who will participate in that program.
Mr. Benedict Agagbeh, the Chief Executive Officer of the bank also reiterated that the bank would finance the project and be reimbursed through the bank of Ghana. He added that another role the bank would be playing is recovery and monitoring of the facility.
The Chairman has also appealed to shareholders and customers to expand their areas of operation as the bank is ever willing to give them its maximum support.
